We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or data handling procedures of sponsors or third parties. Once your information is shared with a sponsor or third party in accordance with this Policy, their privacy practices govern their use of your information.

Sponsor Data Addendum

periPower Event

This Sponsor Data Addendum (“Addendum”) supplements the periPower Privacy Policy and governs the disclosure of limited personal information to event sponsors and promotional partners.

By subscribing to periPower communications or participating in the periPower event, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below.
 

1. Scope of Data Shared

periPower may share limited contact information with approved event sponsors or promotional partners, which may include:

  • Name

  • Email address

  • State of residence

No sensitive personal information is collected or shared.

Data will only be shared for legitimate marketing, promotional, or event-related purposes consistent with the Privacy Policy.
 

2. Lawful Basis and Consent

By subscribing to periPower’s newsletter or providing your contact information through the Site, you consent to:

  • Receiving communications from periPower; and

  • Receiving sponsor-related promotional communications, either directly from periPower or from approved sponsors.

You may opt out at any time using the unsubscribe mechanism provided in email communications.
 

3. Sponsor Obligations

Sponsors receiving personal information agree and acknowledge that:

  • They are independent entities and not agents, partners, or joint ventures of periPower.

  • They are solely responsible for their own compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including email marketing and data privacy laws.

  • They must provide a clear unsubscribe mechanism in their communications.

  • They may not sell, relicense, or further distribute personal information received from periPower without independent lawful basis and consent.

  • They must implement commercially reasonable safeguards to protect personal information.

periPower does not control sponsor data practices once information has been transferred in accordance with this Addendum.
 

4. No Ongoing Control After Transfer

Once personal information is shared with a sponsor consistent with this Addendum:

  • The sponsor becomes independently responsible for its use and protection of that information.

  • periPower is not responsible for sponsor actions, omissions, security practices, or subsequent communications.

  • Any privacy-related concerns regarding sponsor communications should be directed to the sponsor directly.
     

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, periPower disclaims liability for:

  • Sponsor misuse of personal information;

  • Sponsor data breaches;

  • Sponsor marketing practices;

  • Any damages arising from communications sent by sponsors.
     

6. Right to Restrict Sponsor Access

periPower reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to:

  • Approve or deny sponsor access to attendee or subscriber information;

  • Limit the scope of data shared;

  • Suspend or terminate sponsor data access at any time.

Nothing in this Addendum obligates periPower to share personal information with any sponsor.
 

7. Modifications

periPower reserves the right to modify this Addendum at any time. Continued participation in periPower communications or events constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.
